About

I’m a(nother) blogger who has been writing paraphernalia on the web since 2001 - that means before my english was good enough to be understood by any normal english-speaking person (not that it is getting any better now). My first blog is here (2001-2005 - don’t laugh, I started at barely 16), my second one here (2005-2007). I also blogged quite a lot on openDemocracy.net, where I worked as Participation Editor up until february 2008. I now work for Comment is free @ the Guardian and any views stated here are not those of my employer, etc.

I am interested in a couple of things, and amongst others in:

  • feminism & activism
  • online media & social network sites
  • Generation X vs. Generation Y
  • technology-enabled participative democracy
  • politics
  • sex education
  • music, crafts, quilting and patchwork.

I do not use blogs to network or make any particular statement - if it is indeed the case; it is solely to document my own life and social circle. Above all I like to read others’ work, but I like e-mails as well so you never know.

After getting my BA in Politics in France in May 2006 I then quickly fled to London where I am currently living with Mark, who forces me to listen to dirty electro music all day long recently got a record player, hence the great amount of anti-folk and blues music I am hearing these days. I also have a cat named Scully. Yes, after the tv show.
